01. Internship

Join us as an intern. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced mentors on your journey to success in finance industry. All our intern programs consists of training with real-world work experience and continuously updating on latest financial services or transformations.

As an Intern in our firm, you will have the opportunity:

​

  • Work in a team-oriented environment within Abacus, as well as co-operate with our partners in finance industry.

  • Develop your analytical and financial analysis skills.

  • Exposed to all elements of wealth management, including due diligence, interacting with UHNW clients, identifying investment opportunities and managing the portfolios.

02. Associate Asset/Portfolio Management

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in company operations and administration across all asset classes in investment portfolios.

  • Maintain investment records, and perform asset, cash, and AUM reconciliation of co-mingled portfolio accounts and their underlying investments.

  • Provide updates of the portfolio accounts to Representatives/Portfolio Managers – monitor day-to-day exposures, including cash, securities, FX, structured products positions, etc.

  • Prepare periodical reports on portfolio valuation and performance return of the co-mingled portfolios, managed accounts, and their respective underlying assets.

  • Assist Representatives/Portfolio Managers in all phases of client relationship building, account maintenance, and providing financial solutions to clients to ensure ongoing client satisfaction.

  • Assist in research across Asia and Global markets to produce, defend, and maintain a comprehensive investment case.

  • Work alongside internal middle office and external fund administrators to generate ad-hoc investment reports.

  • Other Ad hoc support for Representatives/Portfolio managers.

 

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree, preferably in Finance, Business, Economics, and Accounting or a related field.

  • Strong analytical skills, excellent and self-motivated team player, and great independence in working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in Banking/Financial Services (e.g., family office, private equity fund, asset manager) will be an added advantage.

  • Required language(s): English, Mandarin (to handle queries and feedback from Mandarin-speaking counterparts regarding asset management matters).
